From Library Journal

An active Roman Catholic woman and a Jewish man who regularly leads Sabbath services and teaches religion have written an important book that explores four approaches to interfaith marriage: “Conversion, Compromise, Love conquers all, and Our way-keeping both faiths alive.” While not denying that the first three ways may work for some marriages, they caution against conversion not based on belief, a lowest-common-denominator compromise, and a denial of real cultural differences, such as food preferences and dietary laws. The book is especially good at distinguishing cultural-social practices from faith and at counseling informed compassion. Essential for public and seminary libraries.
